Role Overview
Catering Support Assistants play a crucial role in delivering a professional, responsive, and efficient catering service for students, staff, and visitors. This includes ensuring that food is prepared, presented, and served to an exceptional standard, adhering to established operating procedures.
The individual in this role will also assist with the daily cleaning of kitchen and catering equipment, as well as the receipt and storage of goods, including verifying and signing for deliveries.
Team members in the catering department are expected to adopt a flexible approach to their work and may be required to perform any of the tasks outlined below, regardless of their assigned shift.
Specific Role Information
The individual in this position will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, which may include evenings and weekends.
Working within the catering team necessitates a degree of physical manual handling, which may involve lifting and transporting catering equipment.
