Business Development Manager

Purpose of the Role of Business Development Manager - Education:

Due to expansion, this cash rich, astutely run business is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to realise their ambitious growth plans for both the hire and sale of modular accommodation within the education market sector. Your focus will be to utilise your knowledge of this market in developing new opportunities to win projects both large and small, (anything from £50k - £5m), across the southeast of England

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the education sector
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including education institutions and suppliers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including tenders and pitches
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience within the modular buildings sector
  • Experience of selling these products to the education sector
  • Enjoys a hands-on approach, getting involved in all aspects of a project
  • Driving licence

Benefits:

· £70k - £75k basic salary, £10k - £14k OTE uncapped quarterly commission
