Job Summary
Williams Lea Limited is seeking a skilled Legal Administrator to provide administrative support to our clients in the legal sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on fee-earning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Fee Earners, including attending to instructions and carrying out tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Conduct electronic checks and client due diligence in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
- Send standard emails and update data on CRM systems.
- Handle calls and provide a defined administrative service, including file opening and closing.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and raise queries and concerns with designated individuals as required.
- Record tasks and other management information, complete reporting tasks, and produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets as needed.
- Liaise with fee earners, PAs, secretaries, and other business support departments as required.
- Contact clients to gain personal and/or matter-related information.
- Take an active role in the care of clients and be familiar with all processes.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, research tools, and other systems implemented by the firm.
- Excellent telephone manner and competent knowledge of telephone systems.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and team skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and dependable, able to take the initiative.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines and defined SOPs.
- Conscientious, approachable, and enthusiastic.
- Able to quickly build confident, respect, and trust with others.
- Have a positive approach to daily tasks and a solution-focused working method.
