About Us:
Twenty 4 Seven specializes in the recruitment of facilities personnel for educational establishments across Birmingham.

We are currently in search of committed and proficient School Caretakers to join our team in schools throughout Birmingham.

We offer a variety of full-time, part-time, temporary, and permanent roles, ensuring we can cater to your individual circumstances.

Candidates should possess solid maintenance skills or a relevant trade and demonstrate reliability and flexibility as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong maintenance or handyman abilities to play a vital role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the site team to maintain and secure the school's premises
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks and repairs, ensuring a safe and functional school environment
  • Oversee and maintain the school's security systems and protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas needing attention or enhancement
  • Assist with the organization and dismantling of school events and activities
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong maintenance or handyman skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable but not essential
