About the Team:

You will lead a team responsible for reducing road traffic casualties in the county of Gloucestershire. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and providing traffic and collision data
  • Speed management
  • Providing safety reviews of highway design proposals
  • Undertaking Road Safety Audits

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Knowledge and appreciation of the Safe Systems approach to road safety
  • Experience in managing colleagues and projects
  • Experience of monitoring budgets and reporting their status
  • Expert knowledge of road safety, including requirements for ensuring highway design meets standards and guidance
