Job Title: KS1 Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic mainstream primary school in Sutton.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with Autism in an educational setting and a natural ability to work well with children.

About the School:

  • 2 form entry primary school based in Sutton
  • Judged to be a "good" school in their latest Ofsted report
  • Supportive and welcoming team of staff
  • Praised for the quality of education the school provides by Ofsted
  • Adopt and partake in several approaches to prioritise the mental health and wellbeing of the entire school community

About the Role:

  • Support a child in Year 2 on a 1:1 basis
  • Lead intervention sessions for your key pupil, as well as other children in the class
  • Follow pupil's Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)

Requirements:

  • Some experience supporting children with SEN, ideally Autism
  • Experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
