Position Overview:

Matchtech is currently seeking skilled Modeling Systems Engineers to join our esteemed client, a prominent entity in the defense and security sector. This full-time position offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for a blend of on-site and remote contributions.


Core Responsibilities:

As a vital member of a comprehensive systems team, you will play a key role in advancing the development and implementation of system functionalities. Your expertise in model-based systems engineering and auto-coding will facilitate rapid design iterations to meet performance objectives.


Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for modeling through model-based design methodologies
  • Overseeing a sophisticated Seeker model, which includes simulating the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms
  • Creating and refining algorithms within the model
  • Engaging with a diverse array of clients across various sectors
  • Generating and validating auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model
  • Conducting system studies and performance evaluations
  • Taking ownership of processes and model deliverables
  • Promoting team growth in modeling techniques and algorithm development
  • Evaluating system performance through models in relation to specified requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience in modeling and programming with MATLAB and Simulink
  • Familiarity with verification & validation, configuration management, and model release protocols
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in data analysis and technical documentation

Desirable Skills:
