Job Title: Property Accountant

Join a leading luxury real estate investment firm in London as a Property Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Property Accountant, responsible for leading on the service charge accounting for luxury residential buildings in a prime London location.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist building managers in preparation of service charge budgets.
  2. Preparation of Service charge reconciliations.
  3. Reviewing service charge expenditure and investigating variances.
  4. Attend monthly and quarterly budget meetings with building managers.
  5. Monthly reviews of balance sheet accounts.
  6. Accounting for PRS (Private Rental Sector) properties, including monitoring performance against KPI's.
  7. Liaise with auditors and the financial accounts team as required.
Requirements:
  1. Experience with and a deep understanding of service charge accounting is essential - experience with large complex residential service charges or estate service charges.
  2. Good Excel skills and an ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
  3. Building effective working relationships across the organisation, particularly senior management, and other departments within Finance.
