Deputy Ward Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager at a state-of-the-art mental health hospital in West London.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our team. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the nursing team, contributing to their CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process, and promoting a culture of learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply relevant policies and statutory requirements within the hospital framework of governance
  • Supervise the nursing team and contribute to their overall CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process
  • Act as a role model to promote a culture of learning and development
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving
Requirements

To be successful in this Deputy Ward Manager role, you will need to have a valid NMC pin and prior experience in a Senior Mental Health Nurse role. You will also need to be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
