Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager at a state-of-the-art mental health hospital in West London.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our service and working with the latest treatment methods in a highly trained and compassionate team. You will be responsible for:

  • Applying relevant policies and statutory requirements within the hospital framework of governance
  • Supervising the nursing team and contributing to their overall CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process
  • Acting as a role model to promote a culture of learning and development
  • Engaging in collaborative problem-solving

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin and prior experience in a Senior Mental Health Nurse role. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
