Join Our Pastry Team at Grand Pacific Manchester

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Grand Pacific Manchester. As a key member of our kitchen operation, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pastry dishes meet our high standards and are delivered to our guests with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pastry team to achieve exceptional standards in food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus that align with our hotel's vision and values.
  • Collaborate with our head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment that promotes a positive and productive work culture.
  • Recruit, train, and develop pastry team members to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior pastry role in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional pastry dishes and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Passion for pastry and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
