About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at Grand Pacific Manchester. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry dishes that meet the high standards of our Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all pastry items, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Lead and motivate the pastry team to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menus that align with the company's vision and values.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the pastry department.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional pastry dishes and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
