We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 driver to join our team at Get Staff, working on behalf of our client based in Portsmouth.

This is a temporary contract opportunity with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will be required to work on a variety of routes, including general haulage, curtain side, and fridge transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle, Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1, for general haulage, curtain side, and fridge transportation
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and communication
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
Package Overview:

We offer a competitive rate of pay, with rates of £17 + Days, £19 + Nights, and £19 + Weekends. Additionally, we provide a temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The contract length is 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension or ad-hoc work. The hours of work are 6.00am Days / Nights = 1800pm / 2100pm, with availability required Monday - Friday and ad-hoc basis.

As a Class 1 driver, you will be required to undergo an assessment (1 hour) for insurance reasons. Non-limited drivers only are eligible for this position, due to IR35 regulations.
