Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Leader to join our client's team in the FMCG sector. As a Shift Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, maintaining safety standards, and driving quality and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Operations Manager and support the overall operational strategy.
  • Champion health and safety practices and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Drive operational excellence and lead effective problem-solving within the team.
  • Conduct regular Pareto analysis to identify key areas for improvement.
  • Manage shift performance, including handling disciplinary actions and managing resources.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for team members.
  • Engage the team in continuous improvement efforts and promote a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

  • Formal training in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Proven experience in the FMCG sector with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong engineering aptitude (mechanical, electrical, or technical).
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean-Sigma Yellow Belt.
  • Solid technical and operational understanding with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of BRC standards is advantageous.
  • Proficient in IT and MS Office applications with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
