Job Summary:
We are partnering with a dynamic client in the FMCG sector to recruit a Shift Production Manager for their manufacturing facility in Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing shift operations, maintaining safety standards, and driving quality and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee shift operations to ensure smooth production and efficient use of resources
- Maintain safety standards and conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Drive quality and productivity targets through process improvements and employee engagement
- Conduct regular Pareto analysis to identify key areas for improvement
- Manage shift performance, including handling disciplinary actions and managing resources
- Facilitate training and development initiatives for team members
Requirements:
- Formal training in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- Proven experience in the FMCG sector
- Strong engineering aptitude (mechanical, electrical, or technical)
- Proficient in IT and MS Office applications
