The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Daily Supply Teacher to join our team in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various subjects, providing continuity in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different school settings, teaching methods, and student needs.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by regular teachers or create engaging lessons when necessary.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Certification.
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of subjects.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
