Product Design Sustainability Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Design Leader to join our team at Central Saint Martins. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our BA Product and Industrial Design course, which is committed to exploring product design as a practice encompassing the fields of FMCG, furniture, consumer products, and service design.
As a Sustainable Design Leader, you will be responsible for the operational and academic management across stages of the BA Product and Industrial Design course. This will involve providing academic oversight, strategic leadership, and coordinating monitoring across the stages, as well as providing pastoral and academic support to students. You will also be expected to engage with the process and parity of assessment and feedback.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of teaching, leadership, and management within a higher education environment, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will also have experience of strategic planning, implementation, and delivery, as well as a commitment to exploring, expanding, and progressing the field of product design.
We are looking for someone who is actively engaged with current discipline debates and is developing research that will contribute to the growing research culture of the Product Design Programme. You will be expected to bring initiative and agility to the role, with a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
