Electronic Security Systems Technician needed. Our client, a reputable Fire & Security firm, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their expanding team as an Electronic Security Systems Technician.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of Electronic Security Systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems, ensuring compliance with current regulations and customer specifications. This role will also involve occasional small-scale installation tasks.
Position Overview for Electronic Security Systems Technician
- Oversee the maintenance of Electronic Security Systems within the designated service area.
- Respond promptly to service requests concerning various Security Systems.
- Schedule and attend both routine and reactive service visits.
- Communicate effectively with clients when organizing site visits.
- Manage stock levels on your service vehicle with assistance from the management team.
- Participate in site surveys and installation handovers as directed.
- Carry out small installation projects, managing the process from start to finish, including commissioning.
- Be part of the on-call rota for the region.
- Assist with challenging sites and customer complaints.
- Provide technical support to the Sales Team for quotations.
- Plan preventative maintenance for larger or complex sites, collaborating with clients.
- Take responsibility for all customer service aspects.
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Participate in Engineering team meetings as necessary.
- Be available for overtime and weekend work when needed.
- Identify personal training and development needs to enhance customer service delivery.
Position Requirements for Electronic Security Systems Technician
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a related role.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Familiarity with Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems.
Remuneration for Electronic Security Systems Technician
- Working Hours: 8am - 5pm
- Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (potentially higher based on experience)
- Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays
- Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone, Laptop, Uniform, and necessary tools provided
- Overtime opportunities available
- On-call rota every 3 weeks with a £100 retainer
- Pension scheme included
