Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Portfolio Manager to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a Senior Project Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering key projects that support our mission to provide high-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure projects align with Outcomes First Group's strategic objectives and contribute to the organisation's mission of providing high-quality care and education.
- Act as the primary liaison between senior management and project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
- Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including budgeting, staffing, and logistics, to optimise project performance.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive management of potential issues and implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Track and report on project progress, performance metrics, and outcomes, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals and deliver value.
- Influence and challenge cross-functionally within the company to deliver continuous improvement on existing operational systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, and Agile, including tools for project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ability to develop, manage, and track project budgets, including cost estimation, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks, with experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation, administration, and management to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes.
- Proficiency in analysing project data, performance metrics, and generating detailed reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Experience within an operational environment.
- Experience in managing and communicating with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role, preferably within a similar industry or sector.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear performance expectations, and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Experience in an operational role.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting project data and performance metrics and generating comprehensive reports.
