Job Description:

Driver Hire Uxbridge is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for temporary adhoc positions in the UB postcode area. The ideal candidate will have a valid UK CAT C license, CPC, and TACHO certification, with at least 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience and a manual driving license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Valid UK CAT C license for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points
  • Valid CPC and TACHO certification
  • Manual driving license
  • At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
  • Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
Working Conditions:
  • Mainly during the week - Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
  • A to B drops, multi-drop deliveries in and around M25 (up to 10 drops)
  • Movies/TV and events
  • Builders merchants and scaffolding
  • Insulation & Dry Lining
Pay and Benefits:
  • £17.00 to £19.00 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
  • Overtime paid after 9 hours (breaks not paid)
  • Auto-enrolment pension after 3 months
