The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales efforts in the Southeast Region, focusing on large contractor customers. This role requires building strong relationships with existing and new clients, leveraging Schneider Electric's offers and services to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities- Area Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives growth for named accounts.
- Financial Performance: Meet or exceed targets for orders, sales, profitability, and strategic initiatives.
- Customer Relationships: Develop, maintain, and nurture key customer relationships across all channels (distribution, panel builders, contractors).
- CRM Excellence: Ensure effective use of CRM tools to document customer interactions and manage opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline across the region, ensuring a short-, medium-, and long-term view of projects.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record as a high-performing sales professional and team member.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent planning and time management skills.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical distribution products.
- Business Degree: General business degree or equivalent work experience.
- Professional Sales Training: Completion of professional sales training programs.
- Electrical Engineering Qualification: Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent work experience.
