Role Overview:
This position involves leading a technical team, ensuring that all systems and processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Compensation Package:
  • Attractive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and mentor the technical team, offering support and training.
  • Supervise the upkeep and repair of essential building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety mechanisms.
  • Ensure all facilities adhere to applicable health and safety standards.
  • Formulate and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee and manage relationships with contractors and vendors.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality assurance.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and technical initiatives.
  • Utilize a Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system for tracking work orders, asset management, and maintenance schedules.
  • Address emergency situations with technical expertise.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in any Mechanical or Electrical discipline (or equivalent).
  • Possession of a full and clean UK driving license.
  • Experience in Hard FM with proficiency in CAFM systems for efficient contract operations.
  • Proven experience in managing personnel within facilities management.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and motivational abilities.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance and contract obligations.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.
