We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Metering Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our offshore Oil and Gas Metering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of metering systems on our offshore platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership and management of metering data within our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including submitting change requests and highlighting issues for improvement.
- Responsibility for the maintenance and calibration of primary and secondary equipment, as well as quality analysers, in accordance with CMMS and 3rd Party MMS schedules and plans.
- Assistance with the isolation of metering equipment and the reinstatement of equipment after maintenance, including performing calculations and data validation.
- Performance of daily metering checks, including trend checking, to ensure the health of metering systems and report any potential issues to the onshore engineer.
- Responsibility for the safe start-up and shut-down of measurement systems and analysers, as well as the management of 3rd party personnel and vendors at site.
- Comprehensive end of trip handovers and the actioning of findings from previous handovers in a timely manner.
- Maintenance of areas within your responsibility to a professional clean standard and the performance of regular housekeeping at metering stations.
- HNC in an Engineering subject.
- SVQ level 3 in measurement processes.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of measurement systems.
- Apprenticeship in an Engineering subject.
- 7+ years of experience within a similar role in the energy sector.
- Advance working knowledge of all relevant IP, API, AGA, BS, ISO Standards and codes.
- Knowledge of OGA compliance guidelines.
