Handle Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Royalties Analyst to join our client's team in London. As a key member of the Global Revenue and Royalties Optimization community, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and harmonizing local royalty processing through the adoption and support of global royalty standard solutions and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Global Royalty Processing Optimization: Collaborate with local and global teams to facilitate the adoption and use of global royalty standard solutions and processes, ensuring seamless integration and harmonization of local royalty processing.
- Global Knowledge-Base Management: Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive global knowledge-base, including a complete inventory of royalty-related systems and processes, contact information, and territory-specific requirements.
- Operational Issue Management: Provide first-level support for operational issues and questions raised by users, working closely with local and global teams to resolve issues and facilitate issue resolution.
- Training and Development: Train new business users and lead demos to various business units, ensuring effective communication and understanding of global business requirements.
- Business Process Improvement: Work closely with key users, product owners, business analysts, and IT development teams to understand, document, and communicate the needs of global business users, ensuring that current and future systems support global business requirements.
- Global Relationship Management: Facilitate the scoping, discovery, design, and implementation of new business processes, sometimes supported by the development of new applications, to ensure operational effectiveness and mitigate risk.
- Change Management: Provide inputs to change plans that mitigate risk and increase operational effectiveness of system and supporting processes rollouts, ensuring alignment with the overall GRRO strategy.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with global teams from other threads (Finance, Repertoire, etc.) to ensure that the overall GRRO delivery needs are fully met from an end-to-end perspective.
- Proven Royalty Knowledge: Minimum 3 years' experience in a royalty-related area, either as a royalty user or in project work relating to royalty systems.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to define and manage expectations, including local op-co staff at all levels, GRRO team members, and IT.
- Self-Motivation and Initiative: Ability to work on own initiative and willing/able to travel when required.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Literate, numerate, analytical, and able to understand systems, with a calm problem-solving approach.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross-geographic team environment, with strong organizational skills and a tenacious approach.
- Business Acumen: Ability to enhance existing business processes and related systems, with a strong understanding of the Music Industry and its complexities.
