Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to join our team at KM Recruitment. As a Health and Social Care Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessments and training to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.

About the Role:
  • Deliver assessments and training to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork, and general administration.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS/AET.
  • Ideal experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care/Adult Care at Level 5.
  • Hold a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent.
  • Solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as a Registered/Care Manager.
  • Confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
  • Good level of ICT skills.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Flexible with travel and remote home working.
