Overview:
Actemium Automation Nottingham is on the lookout for a skilled Junior Automation Engineer to become part of our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of a Junior Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and implement control systems for various industrial automation projects across the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside seasoned engineers to create control solutions for diverse industrial applications.
- Aid in the design, programming, and testing of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Engage in project planning, execution, and commissioning tasks.
- Evaluate system performance and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Offer technical support to clients and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of PLC programming (Rockwell) and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the Food and Beverage sector is advantageous.
