Job Title: Outdoor Activity Leader

Join our team as an Outdoor Activity Leader and be part of an exciting opportunity to deliver an exceptional outdoor education experience for children.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outdoor Activity Leader to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of outdoor activities, including bushcraft and survival skills, to children aged 7-14.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality outdoor activities that promote participation, skill development, and enjoyment for children.
  • Manage a team of staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care and activities.
  • Lead by example, inspiring staff to deliver quality activities with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
  • Liaise with Head Office and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of camp.
  • Act as a point of contact for parents and host school staff.
  • Manage administrative duties, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, and staff rotas.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in outdoor education, with a focus on bushcraft and working with children.
  • Natural leadership skills, with experience in managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Ultimate Survival activities.
  • Ability to make informed decisions and adapt to situations.
