Job Title: Cleaning Operative - Front of House

Job Summary:

ABM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team in the Bournemouth area. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust and clean all surfaces, including skirting boards, sills, and fixtures.
  • Operate a floor scrubber dryer to maintain clean and hygienic floors.
  • Empty waste and recyclables, and ensure the outside area is free from litter.
  • Use a baler and compactor to manage waste and recyclables in the back-of-house area.
  • Disinfect high-touch points and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience.
  • Good attendance and timekeeping.
  • Good communication skills, including the use of radios.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for occasional cover shifts.
