Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Planning and Control Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all planning activities to ensure the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all planning activities to ensure the MPS is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective production planning and control strategies to optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
  • Analyze and resolve production planning and control issues to minimize delays and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data to support informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • HNC qualification or equivalent in a relevant field, such as manufacturing, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of production planning and control principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience with SAP a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex production planning and control issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
