Rents and Service Charges Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rents and Service Charges Officer to join our finance team at Transform Housing & Support. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring accurate and timely recording of rent and service charges and rent collections.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the rent and service charge accounts within Transform, including calculating charges, managing rent statements, monitoring payments, and ensuring compliance with the Regulator of Social Housing guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of rent and service charges and rent collections, supporting tenants with their financial obligations.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and knowledge of rents and service charges.
- Familiarity with housing association regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance or rents & service charges role, preferably within a housing association or similar environment.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of rent and service charge calculation, housing regulations, and financial management practices in the context of social housing.
- 28 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays and one wellbeing day each year.
- The opportunity to buy or sell up to five days annual leave per holiday year.
