Academic Liaison Librarian

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Faculty Librarian to join our team at the University of South Wales. As a Faculty Librarian, you will be responsible for providing expert information and advice services to students, academics, and researchers in the subject areas of Sport and Chiropractic.
About the RoleThis is a 0.8 fte post covering maternity leave for a period of 6 months. You will be part of a friendly team of Faculty Librarians based at Pontypridd, with travel to other campuses required.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with academic staff, students, and researchers to design and deliver information literacy skills teaching
- Manage and promote appropriate learning resources in all formats
- Provide high-quality information and advice services through virtual and face-to-face appointments
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated librarian with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have either a qualification in a library or information science discipline or equivalent experience in an academic library or information service. We also welcome applications from people who are currently working towards achieving a suitable qualification.
