Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to individuals with varying care needs. Your values, compassion, and work ethic will make you unique, and we will provide the training and support to help you develop your skills and career.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and other care needs
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
- Encourage and support individuals to engage in their favorite hobbies and activities
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure a safe and enjoyable living environment
- Administer rescue medication in the event of a seizure, as required

You will be supporting a group of individuals who live together in a 4-bedroom bungalow in Cheadle Hulme. The house has a garden, a large kitchen area, dining room, and two communal lounges. All bedrooms have an en-suite toilet and sink, and there is a communal shower room and bathroom. The role requires a valid UK driving license, as you will need to drive the individuals to various activities and outings.

- Ability to work collaboratively with the support team
- Good listening skills and ability to understand individual needs
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
