Job Summary:
Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to join their team. As a key member of the residential care team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide effective leadership and management of the house and residential community, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.
- Child Development: Support the education, personal, and social development of children, as outlined in their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Key Worker: Act as a key worker for a child or small group of children, providing guidance, support, and care.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the registered manager and other professionals to ensure the needs of children and young people are met.
- Home Management: Be responsible for the management of the home in the absence of the registered manager.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working within children's residential care.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and willingness to undertake further training and development as required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the regulatory and legislative requirements of the residential care sector.
