About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Track Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on the permanent way, including inspecting and repairing tracks, sleepers, and ballast.
  • Work safely and effectively in a team environment, adhering to all relevant rules and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of rail safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driving license (category B) and ability to drive Network Rail vehicles.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
