Job Title: Bid Manager

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at Fawkes & Reece (North). As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for managing the production of all bid documentation to secure new and future business for the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the production of all company submissions, including tender quality proposals, pre-qualification proposals, expression of interest proposals, and customer information documents.
  • Supporting the procurement process by assisting with reality checks, interviews, and presentations, and providing market intelligence.
  • Developing a bid strategy to achieve an excellent success rate for company bids by identifying winning themes.
  • Gathering and developing information relating to specific tenders, projects of interest, long-term opportunities, and market procurement developments.
  • Identifying and suggesting actions relating to new procurement and delivery methods.
  • Setting up and maintaining a best practice library of company submissions, competitor information, performance case studies, procurement/market developments/success/conversion rates.
  • Providing information as required to the Client's procurement knowledge centre.
  • Providing efficient feedback to the Business Development and Marketing Manager as required.
Requirements:
  • The ability to structure and write bid responses, writing structured answers to questions, and coordinate the bid process.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
