Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer to lead our CT service team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the CT service, ensuring high-quality patient care, and contributing to the development of our radiology team.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the CT service team, providing guidance and support to radiographers and radiology support workers.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize patient throughput and service delivery.
- Collaborate with the CT Superintendent Radiographer to promote continuous improvements in service delivery and quality.
- Ensure compliance with Trust protocols and policies, including comprehensive competency assessments.
- Participate in the effective day-to-day running of the CT service, standardizing protocols, managing patient bookings, and waiting lists.

Person Specification
- Hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration.
- Management training or experience.

- You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
- This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
