Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Heathrow Airport. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and plating high-quality food items, ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate all food items according to agreed menu specifications and presentation standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times, adhering to HACCP requirements and company standards.
  • Supervise and assist Commis and Kitchen Stewards in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and maintain expiry/use by dates of all food items, ensuring only fresh and high-quality ingredients are used.
  • Coordinate daily food orders and requisitions to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless food service delivery and exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie in a fast-paced, high-end culinary environment.
  • Impressive knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, with ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
