Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and prepare Client Due Diligence (CDD) packs for new clients globally, taking into account reputational, ethical, and sanctions considerations.

  • Work closely with colleagues across our global offices to deliver exceptional professional services to internal clients, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements:

  • A university degree, preferably with a focus in legal or business studies, demonstrating a strong foundation in compliance and risk management.
  • Proven experience of at least two years handling complex AML and other financial crime-related queries at an international law firm, showcasing expertise and knowledge.
  • Strong communication, research, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage a full workload under tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, client intake software, and financial crime databases such as World Check, demonstrating technical proficiency and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of current AML regulations and applicable regulatory guidance in the UK, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
