Job Title: Corporate Actions Specialist
Job Summary:
Leverton Search is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Actions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for examining corporate actions, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of corporate action information databases, and collaborating with internal and external teams to enhance and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Actions Examination: Holding the key position of examining corporate actions, checking for completeness and accuracy.
- Database Maintenance: Ensuring that corporate action information databases are maintained so that information is entered and distributed within a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with corporate action service providers, custodians, and internal teams to enhance and streamline workflows.
- Analysis and Interpretation: Assist Portfolio Management by analysing and interpreting complex voluntary events.
- Processing and Validation: Perform daily processing and validation to maintain the accuracy and consistency of global corporate action data across various platforms, adhering to market standards.
- Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve conflicting action details, communicate voluntary instructions, and verify client entitlements.
- Process Enhancement: Propose and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and minimise risk for the team and the firm.
- Collaboration and Resolution: Collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve intricate action issues.
- Market Knowledge: Interprets terms and conditions of corporate action events across various global markets to understand relevant impacts on their investment portfolios.
- Additional Skills: Experience with Cash Management and Reconciliations is also favourable.

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
- Organisation and Management: Highly organised and management skills.
- Experience: Looking for 2-3 years + of experience.
