Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to enhance our team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless IT operations and providing top-notch support to our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for staff requiring IT assistance, delivering timely and effective support.
  • Collaborate with the development team on database management, including security protocols and recovery strategies.
  • Perform initial assessments, categorization, and resolution of IT issues, while maintaining efficient ticket management.
  • Work alongside external service providers to ensure adherence to established processes for incident and change management.
  • Manage user accounts through onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues, troubleshooting hardware and software challenges.
  • Maintain and update the Asset Management Database, covering all hardware, software, and cloud services.
  • Assist with regular system updates, patches, and software upgrades as needed.
  • Deliver basic training and support to team members on various software applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an IT administration capacity, primarily in an office environment.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Office 365 and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SQL Server or similar ETL systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications from recognized organizations, such as Microsoft or Oracle, are preferred.
  • Experience with mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Expertise in configuring and supporting iOS devices, including iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks, along with knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of troubleshooting and resolving IT challenges effectively.
  • A solid understanding of data protection and information security principles.
