Working Hours: Full-time

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to become a key member of a diverse team at our operational site.

Our facility manages multiple remote extraction points, utilizing infield pipelines to a central processing hub, where various operations such as separation, stabilization, water injection, gas compression, and product export occur. We are currently in search of a Field Instrument Specialist who will oversee the upkeep, repair, and functional assessment of instrumentation and control systems to guarantee the effective, dependable, and safe functioning of our production operations.

This position follows a rotational schedule of 4 X 10.5 hour shifts – 06:45/17:15 (with alternating start days). The work pattern may vary during project phases and maintenance shutdowns, and additional hours may be necessary as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to safely manage and maintain our operational site in accordance with established procedures.
- Optimize plant performance in processing resources from various extraction points.

• Conduct maintenance in line with company standards and protocols.

• Execute scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks on the following systems:
    o Safety Systems, Fire & Gas Systems, Flow Measurement Systems
    o Pressure, Temperature, and Level Control
    o Gas Detection
    o Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
    o Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems

• Develop and assess operational and maintenance guidelines.

• Complete work orders and generate new requests to address equipment failures.

• Issue relevant permits promptly to ensure efficient maintenance execution.

• Assist with projects, collaborating with vendors and subcontractors as necessary.

• Adhere to Change Management policies, including Plant Modification Proposals.

• Utilize safety observation techniques to report safe and unsafe practices.

• Actively engage in responsible waste management initiatives.

• Participate in operational shift meetings.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.

Safety Critical Tasks: You will be informed of specific safety-critical tasks and systems that you will be required to operate competently.

Experience and Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship or an HNC equivalent in an engineering discipline.

• Previous experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred, although candidates from related industries will be considered.

• Familiarity with ATEX equipment (Compex training) is advantageous but not mandatory.
