As the Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the home and providing exceptional care to residents. You will work closely with the Home Manager, overseeing all aspects of the service and adhering to CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Home Manager, assuming responsibility for daily operations in their absence.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to manage and oversee all aspects of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Champion a resident-centered approach, delivering the highest standards of professional care and support that promotes growth, independence, and life opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by actively involving residents and their families in developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized care plans.
Essential Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong understanding of the needs of individuals with dementia and mental health conditions.
  • An NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
