About the Role

Orion Engineers, LLC is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off, 12-hour days and nights). As a key member of our shift maintenance crew, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventive maintenance, machine overhaul, and recovery support for our can making power press equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned preventive maintenance and machine overhaul to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Provide recovery support for power press equipment and complete regulatory compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of power press equipment and experience with machining, welding, and other relevant skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
