Sales Manager Job Description

SF Recruitment (Birmingham) is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue, growth, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives to sell specific products or product lines
  • Present sales reports and compile relevant monthly summary reports
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, communicating regularly and visiting as needed
  • Develop a plan for customer development, including timeline, targets, and monthly achievements
  • Develop overseas distribution networks and Company exhibition plans
  • Monitor and evaluate data to identify trends and implement relevant initiatives
  • Liaise with other team members to stay informed about marketing initiatives and new product development
  • Manage a team of Sales/Customer Service Administrators and Human Resources/Customer Care Administrators to ensure they adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and review customer contact to ensure quality performance and accuracy
  • Ensure SLAs are achieved and deal with escalated customer matters in conjunction with the MD
  • Engage with customers to obtain feedback and ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Update team members on new products, services, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure continuous improvement and train/motivate team members
  • Assist with employee relations, including recruitment, staff rotas, performance, welfare, communication, involvement, probation, induction, performance reviews, and dispute resolution
  • Manage health, safety, and environmental management within the area of responsibility
  • Develop employees within all areas of responsibility in line with objectives/KPIs
  • Complete all necessary documentation on time and in full
