Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Merchandiser to play a fundamental role in planning and managing the Commercial Team's department KPIs, including sales, margin, and stock. This role will work closely with other teams, influencing and shaping business decisions with Channel Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic product development, financial target proposals, and implementation of product ranges.
- Detailed analysis and seasonal sign-offs to directors and other stakeholders across the business.
- Creating new sales-driving strategies and processes.
- Assessing and approving monthly sales and stock forecasts, challenging the team to reduce risks and maximize opportunities.
- Developing seasonal and promotional pricing strategies to meet sales and margin expectations.
- Working cross-functionally with all departments across the business to successfully land ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- Applying a social and environmental lens to everything and supporting our goal to be the most responsibly sourced, B-Corp certified, bed linen brand.
Requirements
- 5+ years of merchandising experience in fashion or home retail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in merchandising tools and software, e.g., Excel, inventory management systems, e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment managing multiple projects and deadlines.
What We Offer
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Chichester, with a starting salary of £55,000.
