DP World is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join our team in Stanford le Hope, Essex. As an HR Adviser, you will play a key role in managing employee relations matters and supporting the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, short- and long-term sickness absence, and individuals on medical restrictions.
- Liaise with stakeholders within the business, including management, occupational health, and the Union.
- Deal with HR queries efficiently and proactively.
- Recruit, select, and coordinate talent.
- Utilize HRIS (Oracle) to access, input, compile, and review data.
- Monitor, review, and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice.
- Coach and support managers and other HR team members.
- Support local, regional, and global HR projects and initiatives.
- Identify and address training and development needs of your client base.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
- Professional yet down-to-earth approach.
- System-savvy with experience working with HRIS.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive and driven for results.
- Able to advise and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excited to work in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Practical and logical with problem-solving skills.
- A strong communicator.
