Purpose of the Role:


Oversee the operations across our manufacturing sites to harmonize all phases of the sales order process, ensuring the precision and reliability of our sales orders and the effective transition to the supply chain team to meet customer demands.

Enhancing customer service, punctual delivery, and stability in lead times.

Driving local operational excellence and nurturing the skills of the teams, while also being a pivotal contributor within the Global Supply Chain Function to innovate new global tools and methodologies.


Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
Functionally manage the order processing teams within the manufacturing sites.
Establish the organizational structure, define roles and responsibilities, and create a competency framework and materials.
Accountable for aiding in the development of plant-level competencies.

Collaborate with local order processing managers to create and globally implement materials within the Rotork Supply Chain playbook.

Define standardized processes and governance for order processing, product configuration, acknowledgment of factory delivery commitments, and management of sales order changes.

Responsible for overseeing the definition and quality of order processing metrics reported to the Group.

Work alongside Group Lean to implement the sales order cycle into the Rotork Management Operation System, including visual management, metrics, reporting, and factory process references.

Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and customer satisfaction.
Implement sales order cycle process improvement tools: -Sales Order configuration and change management.
Management and review of the sales order portfolio.
On-time delivery improvement considering customer requested dates and factory initial promise dates.
Customer lead-time optimization and consistent communication from quotation to delivery.
Enhancements to ERP systems (D365)
Management of customer inquiries, escalations, and resolutions.
Product life-cycle management.

Engage and support the implementation of a standardized ERP system (D365), while also facilitating process improvements on legacy ERP systems.

Assist the data steward, business process owners, and key stakeholders in maintaining the integrity of system data for customer accounts, finished goods part data, inputs into MRP, incoterms, commodity codes, etc.

Ensure processes have audit and evaluation checkpoints.

Assess specific requirements of customers and factories, such as factory acceptance testing and special packaging, and determine how these can be integrated into the ERP system (D365).

Participate in projects aimed at achieving and enhancing customer excellence, such as CRM; lead time reduction, 4PL, and distribution models.

Qualifications & Technical Knowledge:
Essential
Educated to degree level or possess relevant workplace experience/qualifications.
Experience in customer-facing roles within a manufacturing context.
Solid understanding of manufacturing supply chain/customer service and lean methodologies.
Ability to effectively train others; trainer skills certification preferred.
Strong data analysis and capture capabilities; ERP subject matter expert.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven presentation abilities, including proficiency in common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Capacity to engage a cross-functional team towards a common goal; previous experience in successfully coordinating complex projects.
