We are seeking an experienced and accredited Infant Feeding Practitioner/Breastfeeding Counsellor to join our team at HENRY. As a key member of our community-based service, you will play a vital role in supporting families with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding journeys.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide face-to-face support to families with breastfeeding and bottle-feeding needs.
- Lead group sessions in a community setting, promoting healthy infant feeding practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with health and infant feeding partners to share our service offer.
- Support families with empathy and a caring approach, addressing their unique needs and concerns.
- Breastfeeding training at least Peer Supporter level from a recognised organisation (e.g. BfN, ABM, NCT).
- Desirable qualifications include Breastfeeding Counsellor, Lactation Consultant, UNICEF Baby Friendly Training, and NNEB/NVQ 2 or 3 in childcare.
