Training Officer - Employability

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Training Officer to join our team at Bridgend County Borough Council. As a key member of our Employability Bridgend project, you will play a vital role in delivering training sessions and courses to help individuals gain vital experience and find long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and deliver training sessions and courses at various venues throughout the county.
  • Work alongside other Training Officers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community groups to identify training needs and opportunities.
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop training programs to meet the needs of local individuals and businesses.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers through the medium of Welsh.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
