Our Operations team is dedicated to maintaining, repairing, and enhancing an extensive network of high-pressure pipelines, compressor stations, and distribution systems across Great Britain. With a workforce of over 600 skilled technicians and engineers, we ensure a reliable energy supply for homes and businesses alike.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects within Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation fields. This position offers the chance to lead transformative projects at our St Fergus site, where your expertise will be pivotal in driving innovation and excellence.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from the initial tendering and financial planning stages to resource allocation, training, and final handover. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that every project is executed flawlessly.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale projects (valued in the eight figures) within the Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation sectors, adhering to NEC 3 and 4 standards. We welcome candidates from diverse industry backgrounds, provided they meet the essential project management and discipline criteria.
We have a comprehensive program of work that spans several years, and we are committed to setting our team up for success. Whether your background is in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation, this role presents an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise beyond your current discipline.
While experience in any of the three disciplines is essential, candidates with a background in Electrical and Instrumentation will find themselves particularly well-suited for this role. We also value those who have progressed through a technician pathway in any of the relevant fields.
